About Hans and his role

Hans Neilson began his 3 year appointment as the Havelock Community Associations Community Development Adviser in January 2015.

Hans brings a wealth of experience in helping communities to work together in new ways, to be innovative and to determine their own development priorities and achieve sustainable community outcomes together.

Hans' goal for Havelock is to leave behind a strong, self-determined and cohesive community with the capacity to support its own sustainable development.
A community that
