The Havelock Pavilion is a modern building which sits in The War Memorial Park/Havelock Domain at the end of Neil Street. The Domain is an important centre in this small community and its facilities include a main sports ground catering for winter and summer sports, along with netball and tennis courts, public outdoor gym equipment, a petanque court, pump track and a well laid-out playground.
To organise an event on the field or using one of the outdoor facilities you'll need to talk to Marlborough District Council - Give us a holla and we can point you in the right direction. The Pavilion has a large, open, carpeted space with trestle tables, chairs and a couple of whiteboards. There are bathrooms/changing room facilities including showers, with external access to the playing field. There's also a kitchen area with oven, microwave, Zip, urn, and crockery/cutlery. Trestle tables and chairs are available as part of the hire, or can be hired separately for offsite use. Adjacent to the Pavilion is a large sealed parking area with public toilets nearby. The Pavilion will be undergoing significant upgrade work this year, so it's going to be even better soon! Occupancy: 80 people |
